SUPPORTING FOODCHANGE

September 20, 2006

Dear FoodChange supporter,

You are invited to join us in celebrating World Food Day on        October 16, when we commemorate the creation of the Food and Agriculture Organization, the United Nations agency dedicated to defeating hunger worldwide.

For more than a quarter century, FoodChange has been dedicated to defeating hunger in New York City. In 2005, we prepared, served, packaged, and delivered 391,000 meals to hungry men, women, children, and seniors.

We THANK each of you for your partnership and support over the years. Your generosity is key to our ability to alleviate hunger and improve nutrition in New York’s low-income communities. Today, I am asking you to support us again.

One of our major benefactors has given us a challenge grant: each new donation we receive by the end of 2006 will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $50,000. This is a unique opportunity for your charitable dollar to go twice the distance.

Please, join us in fighting hunger and improving nutrition in New York City.

With sincere gratitude,

Vincent McGee                                                                                         Board Chair & CEO
